Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter-39th President of the United States
A sketch of Jimmy Carter was done on Radio Bond Paper using Derwent Sketch pencil (almost all of my sketch done using this brand). It takes about 1 hour to render till this stage of sketch.

Many complains that it looks no similiarity to Jimmy Carter at all..hmmm...what to say?! I admit that but i still post it because i like the toning and the exaggerate results from the sketch.:)

James Earl "Jimmy" Carter, Jr. (born October 1, 1924) was the 39th President of the United States (1977–1981) and the Nobel Peace laureate in 2002. He enacted strong environmental legislation; deregulated the trucking, airline, rail, finance, communications, and oil industries; bolstered the social security system; and appointed record numbers of women and minorities to significant government and judicial posts.

In foreign affairs, Carter's major initiatives included the Camp David Accords, the Panama Canal Treaties, the creation of full diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China, and the negotiation of the SALT II Treaty. In addition, he championed human rights throughout the world and used human rights as the center of his administration's foreign policy...more on Wikipedia
